Why do you think it is that some people work so hard and others hardly work?
I believe that some work so hard and some hardly work becuase the world couldn't function any other way. For there to be hard workers, you have to be able to compare them to slackers, otherwise no one would be praised for their hard work. There is a quote from The Incredibles when Syndrome captures Mr. Incredible, and states "if everyone's super, no one will be." I believe this is true, because you can't have everyone be hard works, or everyone be slackers, or we wouldn't have the functioning society that we live in today.

The Latin phrase "carpe diem" means to "seize the day." What does it really mean to "seize the day," and why have so many poets and philosphers encou
To seize the day means to not think, just do what you feel. Don't be afraid of what others will think, and don't be afraid of the consequences, if you know something is right, then do it. Seizing the day also means to know when to stop. You have to be aware of your surroundings, and know that sometimes, it might just be better to wait.
In Dead Poets Society, everything is about seizing the day. You can't do what your parents want, and only what your parents want. If you do, you could end up like Neil, who commits suicide because he has no choice but to either obey his father's wishes, which are the opposite of what he loves, or do the unthinkable.

Post your top ten links on the web. Explain what each is and why it’s in your top ten.
I don't have ten website that I frequently visit, so I'll name my top 4, because I honestly couldn't think of another website that I go on a lot anymore.
1. Facebook. I go on Facebook as if it were the online Bible. I love stalking people to see what they're up to, and I love keeping an eye on my mom's lame posts, because she insists on being my friend on fb, and reading almost everything i post. She and my aunt usually comment on them, and have discussions on my wall, which is never embarrassing. Anyways, I also love Farmville. Some people hate it, and I used to hate it when people would send me trees and crap on Farmville, but now I go on daily, sometimes more than once a day, and I fertilize my neighbors' crops, and I harvest my crops and milk my cows. It's wonderful.
2. Youtube. I go on Youtube almost as much as I go on Facebook. I have so many funny videos, and I like to listen to music when I'm bored, or writing a paper for say my AP Lit class.
3. Google. Google is another big site for me. I am big on spelling and grammar, and when I don't know how to spell something, or can't think of the perfect word, I go to google, and have the perfect paper.
4. Chase Bank. My bank is Chase Bank, so I go on to the website a lot to make sure that I don't have $3, and to make sure that someone isn't hacking into my bank account and stealing all the $3 left in said bank account.
For number 5, I would have said Myspace, but I don't go on Myspace anymore, because I can go a week without signing on, and after that week, I can sign on, and have almost nothing change.

What is the worst show on television? Why?
In my opinion, the worst tv shows on television are reality shows and soap operas. Things like The Real Housewives of New York, or New Jersey, or Atlanta and Charm School. Those shows aren't real, and they don't attract any real ratings. If they do attract ratings, it's probably because people like to have a tv on when they fall asleep, so they turn on MTV, and whatever happens to be on at the time is what they fall asleep to. This means ratings, and this also means that MTV and Oxygen and all those other lame channels think they are popular shows, so they make different variations of them, like Charm School 2 and 3, which is idiotic.
Another sucktastic show on television currently is American Dad. I know some people with small brains find this show to be hilarious, along with Family Guy, but these shows are filled with nothing but crude humor, and sexual innuendos. South Park is pushing it, but I find South Park to be actually funny becuase they sometimes have real jokes that don't have to do soley with sex. Also, they make fun of things like High School Musical, and Diabetes in one episode, which happens to be the greatest episode of South Park known to man.

It seems that each year retailers start putting out Christmas merchandise earlier and earlier. Why do you think they do this, and what is your overal
I think that retailers start putting out Christmas decorations way too early. Also, they start playing Christmas music like two days after Thanksgiving, which is insane. I love me some good ornaments and Santa Baby, but I think it's a little crazy to be putting things up before December 1st even hits. It might be a little more acceptable, I think, if I didn't love Christmas so much. If I'm in a store, and it's mid-November, and I hear Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey singing Baby, It's Cold Outside, I'm ready for snow, and Christmas vacation.
I think that stores do this because then you freak out, and think that Christmas is right around the corner, even if it's still a month away, and you get into the giving mood and start buying everything in bulk. People think that they are running out of time, and because Christmas hasn't truely hit yet, they have a lot of extra money, so they all start thinking of every single person that they need to buy presents for. They start to see things in the store that would just be perfect for their great aunt that lived in Canada, and they buy it, even though they know they won't see her, and will have to mail it to her. Christmas time is madness, but I love it.

Name at least five people you'd like to meet in your lifetime and why....
1. I would like to meet Bill Gates. I would love to tell him that I was like some poor orphan, and he'd probably feel sorry for me, and give me something for my troubles. :D
2. I would love to meet Barack Obama, because he is not only the President, but he's also trying to make the world a better place with the power he has.
3. If Michael Jackson hadn't died, I would have loved to meet him. My friend and I used to dance in her garage to his songs when i was like 10, and he has made such an impact on so many people and so many different cultures.
4. It might sound stupid, but I want to meet Tyra Banks. She is so beautiful and she has had so many difficult things happen to her in her life, but she somehow manages to have like 83 TV shows on at once, and she models, and she still has an awesome social life. She is an icon and a legend.
5. I would love to meet Oprah. She has become the richest african american woman in the world, and she helps so many people. She helps people with bad children, and she also helps third world countries. She is an inspiration.

Discuss the top five things you spend money on.
1. Diabetic Needs
2. Clothes
3. Bobby Pins
4. Food
5. Starbucks
Diabetic Needs- I buy a lot of diabetic needs, like glucose drinks, juice boxes, and snacks for when my sugar goes low.
Clothes- I buy a lot of clothes, basically because i like to look good. If you went in my room, you wouldn't be able to walk in a straight line, because my small room is filled with clothes that i buy and barely wear. In my defense, I do buy a lot of clothes during the summer, so they all just sit during the winter until it's warm enough to wear tank tops again.
Bobby Pins- I buy a lot of bobby pins because I somehow lose all my bobby pins. I don't like borrow them out to anyone or put them down in bathrooms and not pick them up again, I just randomly lose all my bobby pins. I imagine that one day, I'll go somewhere in my house, and I'll find thousands of bobby pins that I have misplaced over the years.
Food- I buy a lot of food. I almost never eat at home, and even if I do stay in to eat, I probably had something out to eat for breakfast that day.
Starbucks- I go to Starbucks almost on a daily basis. If for some reason I don't go to Starbucks one day, I will be there the next day. During the summer, I had a caramel frappuccino almost every morning for breakfast. Now, I'm all about the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Once that goes out of season, I'll go to my heavenly Caramel Macchiato.

A community or place I really love is and why…
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I love the sights, the smells, and the people who inhabit this beautiful city. It is on the ocean, and has great ocean food, like fresh fish and shrimp, and it has one of my absolute favorite foods in the entire world, boiled peanuts. There is nothing better than walking around on the sand, or on the board walk, with your favorite person, snacking on boiled peanuts.
So, how do you make this delectable snack? Well, start by going down to your local grocery store, and picking up a giant bag of unsalted peanuts. Then, bring said bag home, and boil them. Then, put the boiled peanuts in a decorative bowl, just because it makes it seem fancier. Finally, go for a walk on the beach, while snacking on your boiled peanuts. Bring along your special someone, if you have one. If not, bring your dog. If you're unfortunate, and don't have a beach to walk on, take a walk on the treadmill while watching a beach movie. (You can bring your dog on the treadmill too, if you'd like.)

If I had a million dollar in cash handed to me today, I would…
Go on a shopping spree, first of all. I would take my closest friends, and we'd do New York the way it was intended to be done, with a pocket full of cash. Buy some Louis Vuitton luggage, with a matching purse and jewelery. Then, I would probably buy myself my dream car, a harvest moon beige convertable VW, with flower tail lights, and a big colorful arrangement of flowers in the adorable little flower holder. Maybe I'd buy myself a smart car too, just because i could. :D
Then, after I was done buying myself new pretty things, I would most likely take the rest and put it in a savings account, for later in life. I would probably also give thousands to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, so they would be closer to finding a cure to my disease. After that, I would take a drive in one of my brand new cars to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and I would have my favorite meal at my favorite restaurant, Shrimp at the Conch Cafe.

Elefun
My favorite childhood toy could also be dubbed the greatest toy ever invented. Although the fun fountain seems like a pretty sweet toy, I believe my toy trumps all. My toy brings back memories of a time when life was simle, and peed pants. (We were 3, just for the record...) This toy was my Mini-Jill American Pastime. What epic toy am i referring to, you may ask. Well, this toy, is Elefun.
Elefun is an elefant with an extended trunk that blows butterflies out of said trunk. Then, children run around with butterfly nets and catch the butterflies. This game gives you a funfilled day of excitement, unless the unexpected happens. The only down side to this sweet toy is if you have multiple children running around the elefun, and you have a collision. In this case, the smartest thing to do would be to get a bandaid and some neosporin, and get the kid off the floor, so the rest can continue with their game. Another appropriate way to control the situation, would be for all the other children to take a respectful knee until their fallen comrad is up and off the floor.
